    Manual Clean Screen Filter

    • Screen filters are most effective for removing inorganic impurities from water. When water flows through the screen, impurities larger than the screen mesh size are intercepted. As more impurities adhere to the screen, the pressure difference across the screen increases continuously. If the pressure difference becomes excessive, the screen openings will expand under pressure, allowing some impurities to squeeze through the screen into the irrigation system, and even causing the screen to rupture. Therefore, appropriate management measures must be taken to ensure that the pressure difference across the screen remains within the allowable range. Only through strict model selection and operation under normal conditions can screen filters achieve economic and efficient performance.

    • In the filtration state, impurities are intercepted on the inner side of the screen. When flushing is required, open the drain valve at the flush port, and high-speed water flow will quickly flush the trapped impurities out of the filter. Screen filters use the pores formed by the screen to intercept impurities such as sediment and suspended solids in raw water. Thanks to the scientific distribution of the screen, the interception effect of the screen on impurities is excellent, and the effluent quality is greatly improved.

    Structural Features

    • After a certain amount of contaminants accumulates on the screen, the pressure drop between the inlet and outlet of the filter will rise sharply. Flushing must be carried out promptly when the pressure drop exceeds 0.07 MPa.

    • The water flow direction must comply with the filtration direction of the filter element. Reverse operation is strictly prohibited.

    • If the filter element or sealing ring is damaged, replace it immediately, otherwise the water filtration effect will be lost.

    • Drain all water when the filter is not in use during winter to prevent frost damage.
