Environmentally friendly and durable water-based color marking paint

BioStripe® Sustainable Marking Paint, for instance, is a soy-based paint that uses the oil from over 420 pounds of soybeans per 100 gallons of paint, making it the world's first soy alkyd, latex striping and marking traffic paint. This eco-friendly paint contains renewable, natural materials, which makes it safe for roads as well as surrounding water supplies and the people applying it. It is designed to withstand the wear and tear of traffic and harsh weather conditions, remaining highly visible for optimal safety.

The benefits of using this type of paint include excellent durability and chemical resistance, superior dirt repellency and color retention, and low VOCs (less than 85 g/L) with no ammonia odor. It is quick and easy to apply, compatible with standard line-striping equipment, and performs well on all types of pavement. Additionally, it has an excellent shelf life for extended storage and offers a range of colorful options, including white, yellow, blue, red, black, and bike path green.

AquaRoute™, another example of water-based paint, is an epoxy-modified, water-based acrylic material that is ideal for applications requiring fast drying time, skid/slip resistance, and color stability. It has a consistent intermix of anti-skid aggregates in each pail, eliminating the need to post sprinkle anti-skid aggregates during the application process. This paint is also user-friendly, with a pot life over 24 hours and can be cleaned up fast and simply with water.
